Findings from the Field
Findings from the Field is a community of middle school ecological and environmental scientists that produce a journal of observations and investigations each year. This project launched in 2017 and is produced by the Gulf of Maine Research Institute in collaboration with a community of student scientists and teachers from across Maine and New Hampshire. Through Findings, students engage in and communicate about authentic scientific inquiry. Student contributions to the journal undergo a process of peer and editorial board review before publication.
